John Hobbie is an entertainment production designer who likes to dabble in landscape architecture projects. John’s past projects include Methodology for Selecting Sites and Creating Urban Cool Islands (UCIs) in Cities, 2023 Journal of Digital Landscape Architecture, Dessau, Germany; Fairytale Forest and Moana’s Atmos Tent at Hong Kong Disneyland; The Great American Trailer Park Musical in Dallas, Texas, USA; and multiple gallery exhibitions of his sculpture. John is also a professor and teaches production design and drawing courses.
