
Xinyu Yan
Architectural designer shaping iconic sports and entertainment spaces worldwide.
Educated at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais (B.Arch) and UCLA (M.Arch), Xinyu Yan is an architectural designer currently contributing her expertise at Gensler. She focuses on large-scale sports and entertainment projects, with experience including the Long Beach Arena Renovation for LA2028, the Rose Bowl renovation, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, and the Cincinnati Open tennis center. With a specialization in stadium, arena, and amphitheater design, Xinyu is dedicated to crafting dynamic environments that create lasting impressions for athletes, performers, and fans alike.
Before coming to the United States, she worked at Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Dominique Perrault Architecture, contributing to award-winning projects such as Henderson Cifi Tiandi in Shanghai, The Artists' Garden in Qingdao, the Paris 2024 Olympic Village, and the Gangnam Intermodal Transit Center.
