Filippo Vajra & Giovanni Ratto
Filippo Vajra and Giovanni Ratto are two architects with a Master’s degree at the University of Genoa (Italy) in April 2020. They both also studied at Universidad AutónomaMetropolitana (Mexico). During their studies, they focused on architecture and urban design and its representation, with particular attention to informal cities, sustainability, and bottom-up planning.
As members of Giano Collective, they collaborated with texts, drawings and editing in two publications: “Does Effective Planning Really Exist?” by ChristianoLepratti and Paola Alfaro d’Alençon (selected and published on newgenerationsweb platform) and “Il Museo Pop Up. Artepubblica e spaziourbano” by Davide Servente.
From 2017 to 2021 they had different experiences in genovese architectural firms.
In 2021 they did a lecture about their master thesis “La Megalópolis de Nadie. A research and a proposal for the occupation of Public Space in Mexico City” at the University of Genoa (Italy) and at Universidad AutónomaMetropolitana (Mexico).
Nowadays, in April 2022, Filippo works in Mexico City (Mexico) and Giovanni in Madrid (Spain).
