Dongwoo Suk
Dongwoo Suk is a Project Designer and Computational Design Specialist at Steinberg Hart in San Francisco. He holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch I) from Southern California Institute of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. His professional experience includes work on award-winning large-scale developments such as Ellore Senior Living (PCBC Gold Nugget Grand Award, SHN 1st Place Assisted Living), The Clara—the tallest building in Santa Clara (recipient of three PCBC Merit Awards and the SVBJ Structures Award)—and the $1.4 billion Cal Poly Student Housing project, the largest modular student housing program in the United States.
His work bridges architectural design and software development, combining advanced design methodologies with computational innovation. Alongside his architectural practice, he has developed several computational tools and open-source contributions published on GitHub, McNeel, and Food4Rhino. His research and professional focus center on advancing the integration of computational design and artificial intelligence into architectural workflows and large-scale project delivery.
