Hui-Cheng Chung is from Taiwan and is completing the Master of Architecture program at the University of Michigan. Her work explores the intersection of material innovation, spatial politics, and socially responsive design, with research interests spanning sustainable building systems and temporary construction materials. Informed by cross-cultural experiences across Asia and Europe, as well as humanitarian work in the Philippines, she approaches architecture as a platform for cultural dialogue and public engagement. Upon graduation, she will continue her professional career in the United States, contributing to the built environment through thoughtful, research-driven, and community-oriented design practice. Outside of architecture, her interests include sketching, photography, triathlon training, and travel.
