Editorial reflection
The “Life on Move – Mobile Home Design Challenge” addresses a timely shift in how we define living in an increasingly mobile and urbanized world. The competition invited participants to rethink the concept of home—not as a fixed entity, but as a flexible, adaptive space that responds to changing environments and lifestyles.
The submissions showcased innovative approaches to compact living, sustainability, and mobility, demonstrating how design can balance functionality with comfort and ecological responsibility. Many proposals went beyond shelter, exploring how mobile homes can foster connection, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
As we announce the results, we recognize the creativity and critical thinking reflected across the entries. These visions collectively redefine mobile living, presenting a future where homes are dynamic, sustainable, and shaped by the evolving needs of society.
