Despite being a niche and conceptually demanding theme, the competition received 20 thoughtful and imaginative submissions from around the world. Each entry was a testament to the growing global consciousness around ecological resilience and sustainable design. However, in keeping with the focused scale of this edition, and the select number of submissions, the jury has decided to award only the top two entries that truly stood out for their innovation, depth, and alignment with the competition’s core values.
Participants were challenged to design urban miniature forests that not only enhanced biodiversity and ecological balance, but also fostered community engagement and inclusivity—transforming forgotten or overlooked urban spaces into breathing, living environments.
