THE LOST ATLANTIS REBORN
Editorial reflection
The legend of Atlantis has long reflected both human ambition and our delicate relationship with nature. In “The Lost Atlantis Reborn – Designing a New Era of Aquatic Community,” participants were challenged to transform this myth into a vision for sustainable underwater living.
The resulting proposals go beyond imagination, presenting innovative communities that merge advanced design, ecological responsibility, and cultural expression. Each entry explores how architecture can coexist with marine ecosystems while fostering vibrant, connected societies beneath the sea.
As we announce the results, we celebrate the ingenuity and vision of all participants. Together, these works redefine Atlantis—not as a lost civilization, but as a hopeful model for a resilient and harmonious future.

Juror’s Comment:
A highly compelling and immersive narrative-driven proposal that successfully reimagines Atlantis as a post-crisis regenerative underwater civilization. The integration with coral reef ecosystems and symbiotic design approach is particularly strong and forward-thinking.
Work on:
While the conceptual and environmental strategies are excellent, certain aspects of day-to-day functionality and circulation could be further refined for clarity, efficiency, and realistic habitation logistics.
