As cities grow denser, rooftops present a valuable opportunity to expand urban life beyond the ground. The Urban Roofscape Activation – Designing Beyond the Ground competition invited participants to reimagine these overlooked spaces as vibrant hubs for community, ecology, culture, and well-being.

The submissions showcased imaginative and thoughtful approaches to transforming rooftops into active, inclusive, and sustainable urban environments.
