Editorial reflection

The results of “AQUATIC HORIZONS – Designing the Floating Museum” highlight an inspiring exploration of architecture at the intersection of culture and water. Participants reimagined the museum as a dynamic, floating space—one that responds to environmental challenges while enriching public engagement with art and nature.

In the face of rising sea levels and urban pressures, the awarded proposals demonstrate innovative, sustainable, and adaptive design approaches. These visions reflect how architecture can harmonize with aquatic environments while fostering cultural exchange and ecological awareness.

We thank all participants for their thoughtful contributions. The winning entries stand as forward-looking examples of how design can shape resilient, inclusive, and inspiring futures.
