The Vitalis Sphere
Doğa Özgen is a recent architecture graduate from Gazi University in Ankara, Türkiye. She participated in the Aquatic Horizon Design Competition during the final stage of her architectural education. Throughout her academic journey, she has taken part in various national and international design competitions, exploring diverse architectural ideas and approaches. She is interested in creative design processes, visual representation, and developing innovative solutions to contemporary architectural challenges.

Una Di Tre
Hanna Seegers is an architecture student from the Ruhr region of Germany. Following an international voluntary service placement in Belgium, she began her architecture studies at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she spent six months in Gdańsk, Poland, where she further developed her architectural knowledge at Gdańsk University of Technology.
She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree and plans to pursue a Master’s degree to further develop her skills and expertise. Alongside her studies, Hanna has gained practical experience through a part-time position at a local architectural practice. She hopes to continue combining academic learning with practical experience by contributing to real-world architectural projects during her Master’s studies.
Hanna believes that good architecture lies at the intersection of social and technical considerations, bringing together human needs, functionality, and thoughtful design.

Cemrenur Demir

SubScope
Cemrenur Demir is a recent graduate of the Department of Architecture at Ankara Gazi University. During the final stage of her architectural education, she participated in the Aquatic Horizon Design Competition, where her project received an Honorable Mention Award. Throughout her academic journey, she has taken part in various national and international design competitions, exploring innovative design approaches and broadening her architectural perspective.
In addition to her academic studies, she has gained experience in both architectural practice and construction through internships focused on restoration, conservation, and building production. Her interests include architectural conservation, adaptive reuse, sustainable design, and the relationship between memory, space, and contemporary architecture. She is particularly interested in developing design solutions that integrate cultural heritage with contemporary spatial experiences.

Mariia Ovtina
Design Title
Teriberka Museum
Mariia Ovtina is a fourth-year architecture student at the Moscow Architectural Institute, specializing in the Department of Architecture of Rural Settlements. For the Aquatic Horizons competition, she developed a museum project in Teriberka, a unique Arctic setting that calls for a highly sensitive and context-driven architectural approach.
Her interests focus on the development of public spaces and buildings in challenging terrains, with particular attention to understanding the character of each site and responding through environmentally conscious, context-sensitive design solutions. Mariia believes that architecture should reveal the “anatomy” of a space while creating sustainable and meaningful environments that respond to the needs of their users.
She expresses her sincere gratitude to the jury and competition organizers, as well as to the teachers who supported her throughout the development of the museum project.

Between Sea and Silence
Aleksandra Fijołek is a recent graduate in Architecture and Spatial Planning from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. She studied abroad at Politecnico di Milano and the University of Alicante and gained professional experience at MVRDV in Rotterdam.
Her interests focus on sustainable design, urban environments, and the relationship between people and place. Outside of her professional work, she actively participates in and organizes workshops that promote collaboration, creativity, and knowledge sharing.

Design Title
Within
Devansh Choudhary, Diksha Singh, Himanshi Rathi, and Riddhi Thakur are architecture students whose work focuses on experiential design, environmental storytelling, and the relationship between people and place. Their projects explore how architecture can communicate complex ecological and cultural narratives through spatial experience.
In Within: A Floating Museum, the team transforms the museum into a journey through the life of a whale, using architecture as a medium for empathy, conservation, and reflection. By integrating marine ecology, sensory design, and cultural heritage, they aim to create spaces that deepen public engagement with the natural world.
